I've done it with and without a healer.I found having a Loremaster on board very useful for the end bit in the chamber - and having 2 tanky types very useful or when you have to split the group to defend nore than 1 barricade at a time in the Gredbeggy one in the Deepway.
I suggest doing the 21st hall battle last because its the easiest and the most straightforward if you have to recruit during your sequence
If you're looking to complete all 3 of the battles in one session - just a warning that it does go on a bit. The one in the forges is set, I believe to a 40-50 minute timer which you have to run out - it is a real repetitive grind after a while and because it works to a timer there's nothing you can do to speed up the process - very frustrating if your group is strong and is winning the episodic skirmishes quickly
The name "Drums in the Deep" is the name of the entire book 5.
Do you plan on doing all of book 5? Or just 5.5? Or just one of the quests of 5.5?
Chapter 1: Azog's Legacy , Chapter 2: A Greater Power ,Chapter 3: Mazog - a solo instance Chapter 4: The Sorrows of Khazad-dûm and finally
Chapter 5: Drums in the Deep a sequence of 3 fellowship instances - The Battle of the Deep-way,The Battle of the Way of Smiths, and The Battle of the Twenty-first Hall. Chapter 5 book 5 instances are the only group actions in this sequence.
And now I'm curious what the actual name of the book is...
