Basically if you stick to this program you can do 100 push ups straight after 6 weeks.
It's not that much either only about half an hour a week and you do ten minutes on monday's wednesdays and fridays

That tells you all you need to know, you just have to work out where your going to start

I'm currently working out daily anyway trying to improve my abs so I can just add this to my current workout. lol

Holy cow... amazing how much of a simple exercise can take it out of you when you have been 10+years out of the game!

Managed about 20 :s (and I know 'back in the day'I could do way more than that). So 20 at 30 years old, Rank 3....

Ooh and hey there is alos an APP for the iphone/pod to go along with it *purchased*

Will be carrying on with this thats for sure.

Wonder if it will work. 100 is an awful lot. dont think ill do it, will interfere with my current program

*edit*
they claim u can do 8 sets at week 6 with +60 after the last set? i dont believe that, i absolutely dont believe that. im in.

Ok then - Monday 31st. Finished my first Set.... midway burn was good - but by god you can tell!

I have developed in the last year a chronic pain with movement of my shoulders across the front (the pectoral muscles to the nearside of each arm and the tendons that join them) - oh my it made that smart... and I am hoping that the pain has been due to atrophy of the pecs over the years that any movement is felt like this (as I expect from excersion). So I shall let you know if this gets better as I progress ^^.

did day 1 last night, went superb, didnt cost me too much effort. dont feel any arching, but that happens after a day in my experience. Im trying to do it with my hands as close to my feet as possible, to make it harder. cant really believe its gonna work, but we shall see smile

Did the initial test for both the press-ups and sit-ups and only managed 3 press-ups and 20 sit-ups, mind you that was more than I expected to do smile

Will start the thing properly on Monday so it will be easier to keep track.

Tell me about it... my combined total of pressups was 50... huh? - Just as well it was done with 90second breaks for this round rather than 60 seconds on the previous... BRING ON FRIDAY RND3!!

Make sure you place your hands correctly when doing push-ups, it is easy to place them to far ahead of yourself making it near impossible to perform a press-up.
