Ok just read this thread - and think i might have a go - its about time i really started doing some fitness work - seems i am not getting any younger these days sad I mean you would have thought at my age i should be able to pass as being 21 still wink

Oh well - i can say i used to be able to do 200 push ups in one go when i was younger and fit tongue Now, however, i am expecting more in the region of about 10 tongue - i have to do the knuckle press ups though as the normal ones actually damage my wrists to the point i can't use my hands afterwards sad (My body is sooo packing up and giving up on me - guess that's teh price for being hyperactive as a child) tongue

Will let you know how it goes tongue

had the same problem with knuckle pushups. felt great to do it though. i should start doing clap pushups again, i really liked them, but havent done them for months now.

Week 2, 1st challenge now. trying to make it harder by placing my hands closer to my feet. it has been quite an easy program for me now, but im used to doing similar workouts. Its great fun to see the progress in the program though. i guess i will be really bored at week 6. 100 pushups, thats just plain boring lol

I must confess I have fallen somewhat behind schedule... RL has been tremendously busy for one reason or another of late... but no excuses I will redouble my efforts!

Update: Just did my 6th day, tier 3. went all the way, hit 20 push-ups the 5th set. everything went great the past 14 days. i only got 12/16 on the 5th set on day 5. That was because i did a (different) workout the previous day. I took 2 days rest after that and well, day 6 was today.

I have a presentation tomorrow: daily exercise makes you happier, u will relax more and its great to overcome depression -yea, its a psychology class, i know, but still tongue

I really enjoy the program. How are you guys keeping up?

Well I strained./tore both muscles in the triceps in both arms, so taken a break this week until the pain has cleared to indicate its safe smile

So will continue again tomorrow perhaps.

I really seem to be struggling with getting time to do this as I do a long route on mondays so am tired, do a heavy route on wednesday so am tired and also have to do a long route on fridays which makes me too tired to do this.

It's a catch 22 situation, probably be better off doing it if I didn't drive for a living, such a boring job it takes it all out of me and I fall asleep as soon as I get in from work. I do actually struggle to stay awake when I driving down the motorway, to such extent that I have to leave the motorway and drive down the back roads to stay awake.

This doesnt work by the way, you have to keep re-doing week six until you can manage it, so it's all a load of ol' crap!
