The Twilight Gathering

A little history

The Gilrain server itself was started up sometime in April 2007, shortly after LOTRO was started in the EU.

There were a number of us who joined a Kinship called The Evening Moon. Unfortunately over time the control of the Kinship via its kin leader was nonexistant and a decision was made to reform as a new kin to ensure the future of the kin from there on.

And so on the 31st July 2007 The Twilight Gathering was born, and we have existed without break since that time with Arkronis as its "Leader".


Our Focus
Our aim, to be a kinship that encompases all manor of people like minded as casual players that put our real lives first and foremost with mutual understanding of its unpredictability and scant available time.

We try our hand at Raiding, and we have people that love to do that first and foremost, and also people that really would rather to kickback and quest, craft or whatever. There is no set focus in terms of "end game". We do whatever in a more relaxing mind-set - But beating the game content is nice, dont get us wrong

The Kinshouse Chests/Storage setup
Our kin house has 3 chests which are open freely for members use.

Chest 1 (main room)
Recipes - any you want to donate to the kin place here - ANY level (not just supreme stuff). Please check this regularly and take any recipes that are or will be useful to you.

Chest 2 (rear room)
Crafting and Crit items - want to donate a stack of hides? Place them here. Any of the new crit items you don't want/need please also put in here. Please only take these items if you are actually going to use them (unlike recipes which you can take and store before you need them)

Chest 3 (upstairs)
Class items/Cosmetics/Potions/Anything else - exactly what it says really! Do check it often though in case there's something you want/need

PLEASE NOTE:

If you are wanting to put high value items in the kinchests please be aware that the kinchests are only restricet to kinmembers only (no guest access) So any kin member can withdraw/deposit in to them.

If you would rather, you can send the item(s) to the following Character held by Arkronis: THETTGKINBANK (aka The Kin Bank)
